How dangerous is it for Joey to sleep in bed with me?

Stewie has been in my bed since he was 17 weeks. The first week (when he was 3lbs and 16 weeks old) he was in the hallway outside my room in his own bed. He cried one night and I caved and brought him into my bed with me.

Since then, I cannot sleep if he is not with me. I'm so spoiled -- and so is he.

I think once you let them into bed, both of you are ruined for life.

I didn't even sleep with my kids in the bed when they were babies. I was scared of rolling over them and hurting them. Gus sleeps in a traveling crate for cats. Where ever I sleep he sleeps in his own bed either on the floor or on the bed next to me. I have it paded with a soft baby blanket and he loves it. All I have to say is nite nite and he'll go right in. If we are just taking a nap I will leave the door open but at night I shut the door so he don't get up in the middle of the night and get into anything. It took some time to get used to sleeping in it with the door shut, but as long as i'm right there, he's happy
