Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I've done agility with my yorkie relatively successfully, but I don't think I'd do weightpull. Too much stress on tiny joints. Perhaps I'm being naive.

| thats awesome! do you have any pictures to share? nah its nothing if done right with a sound animal. i've seen chi's do it as well as westies pulling maybe 15x their weight. my dog's mother is about 42 lbs, and she once pulled 1245 lbs to win at a show! she made it look easy! ive seen smaller dogs pull even more as well! if the dog has the drive and sound hips w/o slipping hocks then i say go for it! start off small and work up! |

Here's an old video of Eddie doing some agility in the backyard. He's actually much better now and doesn't need the cheater weave poles.

| Welcome to YT! I tried out a couple agility classes with Lacy before. She did okay, but we were only able to practice during that once a week class and that's just not enough. We didn't have space for our own agility equipment. She did pretty well but she's so stubborn..I couldn't get her to follow me from on obsticle to the next. But if I lead her on a leash, she did the obsticles well. Maybe one day I'll try it again with another yorkie.
