| Help yorkie moms! Sick puppy? Yesterday I took gabby to the vet for the 4 month shots. Mind you this is the first time I've taken her. She seemed to be fine till we got home. The vet said she might be a little scared after the experienced. All last night she wanted nothing to do with the family so we gave her space. She wouldn't eat dinner last night or this morning. When I go to pick her up she Yelps as if shes hurts. I know for a fact that the shots were on her back NOT her underside. We also have another puppy who she loves but now wants NOTHING to do with this morning! What do you moms think? Am I freaking out over nothing? |

| What shots did she get? When Jo got his 4 month shots he was untouchable and didn't want to eat...he would scream if I tried to pick him up and I thought he was going to die that first night. It took a couple of days for him to be his normal self again. Is she o.k. otherwise...no diarrhea, vomiting, swelling or shortness of breath? If you are concerned then you should call your emergency vet...maybe they can tell you what to give her for the pain. |

| Jasmine did the same thing, when you picked her up she would cry but the next day she was back to herself.

| When I brought Brady in for his shots he had a reaction almost immediately. On the trip home he threw up and just a short time after arriving home he began shaking and was feeling just miserable...So I called the vet and she recommended a 1/4 of a baby aspirin. I wrapped it in a small piece of cheese and after a short time he stopped shaking and slept. When he woke up he felt so much better. I hope your little one feels better real soon.... |

| Our little guys are so sensitive that we have to watch everything done to them and look for reactions.... 20 yrs of doing this and flea collars and flea meds are some to really watch too... |

| How many shots did he get? My vet only gives one shot a week because yorkies are so small... Also I never allow them to give Lepto. Yorkies can get really sick and some vets mix rabies with Lepto. Call and let them know your baby is sick and find out if Lepto was part of the shot. hope your little one is feeling better soon!

| Thanks everyone! You were all right! She just needed sometime after the shots! Gabby seems to be doing fine! I don't know what I would do without YT! |
