| YT 1000 Club Member | I use Wags wheatgrass shampoo and conditioner for my 3 it is working really well on their coats. My 3 have somewhat sensitive skin and always get dry no matter what shampoo I used. this was recommended to me by my vet and they haven't have dry skin for awhile now. I also put kelp in their food in the morning. I bought a boars bristle brush and a comb with the rotating teeth. I founf they work really well with getting the tangles out without pulling their hair too much. I also give them an almond oil rinse once a month. |

| Does Touch of Mink shampoo produce a nice lather? I love to use Shampoos that make lather, I feel I'm actually doing a good job that way. I've used Oatmeal shampoos for long haired dogs and they lather well. Then I made a mistake and bought a "Hartz" Lavender scented product. Just awful. I even tried it on myself (because I hate throwing anything away), and I even hate it for me! |

| Grow a good coat from the inside out. Be sure that the food you are feeding is a high quality food -- I have had wonderful success with Canidae All Life Stages. I supplement with a few drops of Emu Oil daily. The only shampoo I use is MinkSheen and I top it off by putting a few drops of Emu Oil in my hand - rub my hands together and massage it into their coats. I use a CC brush and a stainless steel comb. |

| yes, the minksheen does lather up nicely. This is my favorite shampoo, and I think I have tried most of them...the CC, Petsilk, Cowboy Magic shampoo (but I do love their detangler, and it does keep knots from coming back). Love the Minksheen!!

| I, too use Chris Christensen products. I have the Brass fusion brush 27mm. I also LOVE Ice on Ice (a spray on detangler/conditioner). Most of those tangles are probably caused by a collar. I know that there are certain types of collars that are suppose to help. (maybe a rolled collar??) I am not sure, but you may check with some of the YT vendors to see if they do any Satin lined collars.... that may help, too. Good Luck!
