| ![]() Hello, I just bought two puppies for Christmas for my daughter and wife. They both come from different families with the female being registered CKC and the male being registered AKC. I am most impressed with AKC and wondered if I could dual register the female? My other question is if these two breeded how would the puppies be registered? |

| ![]() Just a quick response... in order to register them AKC, both parents must be registered AKC.

| ![]() Hi and welcome to YT! I don't believe the AKC recognizes or accepts any other registry. If your female is registered CKC and she was bred I believe the puppies would have to be registered CKC also. I think you can dual register your male AKC/CKC but most people prefer AKC registration when purchasing a puppy. You can find out more information on the AKC website...if you have questions and you email them they are usually very prompt with a reply. |

Having one AKC and one CKC you will have to make the AKC a CKC too and all the puppies would be CKC. Hope that helped. | |
