| Vacinations-Safe to give more than one?ASAP Hello fellow yorkie moms & dads It's been a while since I posted but how safe is it to give him the Rabies shot with the other shots required? His last shot was back in feb 07' 6 in 1 combo at Petco. maria & Nene' |

| I dont like to do more than one. Zoey weighs 5lbs and has had some reactions. I guess it depends on his size and how well he tollerated the last ones. Good luck.

| I don't think it will hurt, my vet gave Otis his last set of DHLP-CPV, bordettella, and rabies all at the same time and he was fine. The vet said he may be sleep more than normal that evening but other than that he was fine.. I think that if it would cause problems to give them all together they would tell you that.... I think they go by the weight of the puppy on how much of the vaccine they give at one time... He also said that if I thought he had a fever that I could give him a baby asprin to help the discomfort if he had any....

| I've always done the rabies shot with the combo shot and never had any problems. The main thing I would be worried about is an allergic reaction to one of the vaccinations...if you gave several, you wouldn't know which one the dog was allergic to. But many dogs and cats are given multiple vaccinations at the same time without any problems at all. If you have a really tiny dog, you might have to be more careful as well. I would just discuss any concerns you might have with your vet and see what they suggest
