| Worried but not sure I'm so confused. I've watched videos on reverse sneezing but none of them are what it sounds like Lilly has. She's been really calm tonight and she was sitting in front of the couch and she started doing it. It's almost like she's gasping for air but not really, she'll almost like snort instead of honk like it is in the reverse sneezing videos... it sounds as if her nose is stuffed up and she's trying to catch her breath through just her mouth while snorting through her nose still. What does this sound like? TIA!

| When Lacy reverse sneezes, she makes a snorting noise. What you can do is place your fingers over the nostrils and it should stop

| I hope that's all it is and it isn't anything too serious. When she started doing it tonight she did it worse than I've ever seen and it scared my boyfriend to death, I didn't know what to do so I just picked her up and starting trying to pet her a lot and calm her down. So is it like common for them to do it less at times and other times it be sort of excessive?

| Haley has reverse sneezing attacks almost everyday anymore..They're not breathing out of their mouths, so, I usually just pick her up, rub her neck, calm her down..you can get them to try and give kisses(anything to get them to open their mouths)..it can be 3 different things, either reverse sneezing, collapsed trachea and shoot, can't remember the other right now(too early in the morning).. Ginger (my little one) has started doing it without the noise, it's like she's gasping for air..really scares me.. |
