I suspect my little guy is doing it as well. I haven't seen him doing it, but the poop is manipulated. Just a little while ago, he did it, I and I smelled his breath, and it was pooh! Yuck! So, I've read about trying to stop him from doing it, but what about, disinfecting his mouth. What's out there to help with this?

My little girl Momo is 11 months old and still eats her poop, we have tried everything and just come to the conclusion that she really likes poop. I still want to give SEP a try though that's the only one I haven't tried yet. She eats poop so much my boyfriend has nicknamed her "dirty mouth". -Tracy

i used crushed pineapple --mixed it in with jaya's wet food, and it worked. I only did it for about a week and she forgot to do it until just recently. --though its not nearly as bad as it was previously (and i dont know if she is actually doing it again or not because i havnt seen actual proof of it myself and i am very attentive to my dogs...... my motherinlaw mentioned it the other day, however i dont know if she only saw Jaya sniffing her poo and then automatically assumed she was eating it since she used to eat it, or if she actually did eat it again. I am thinking it is the former though cuz ive seen absolutely no evidence of it. but yea, crushed pineapple worked for Jaya.

I just used a can of crushed pineapple. I'd add in one spoon of it with her wet dog food. Sometimes i'd have to blend it in a blender because she'd pick out the chunks. I would add it to two of her meals. I had to be diligent for about a week and then she stopped - however, she could have outgrew the behavior or I could have just gotten better at picking up faster than she had time to play with it, i'm not sure, i just know that she stopped.

I brush mine's teeth after I've caught him doing it just so I don't have to smell it on his breath. | |
