No you are not crazy, yorkies really do look like rottweilers when they are first born.
I had family over when Destiny first had her pups. They weren't allowed to touch them or anything but they saw them and said they looked like baby rottweilers. They had no idea that yorkies were born black and gold.

lol both puppy pics are cute...and yes, ITA with everyone who said only yorkies are born cute and just keep getting cuter!!

the picture of the rotties cracked me up though...it looks like they are snuggling and kissing! LOL

they look very much alike. i couldn't tell you the people that have approached me when i have a puppy out and ask if it's a Rottie.

We picked out our first Yorkie when he was two days old. I wasn't convinced he even WAS a Yorkie.

What a different little dog that was just about nine weeks later ... they go through the most amazing transformation, don't they?

The breeder that I bought Sadie and Lillie from also breeds Rotties....They do look alike..Very hard to tell when they are first born
