My new Yorkie Puppy

When we leave and I know we will be gone for a while I leave the tv on .. But I have more than one.. Do you have a lot of toys? stuffed babies??

Some dogs do really well when left alone.. but some get really scared

He does have a ton of stuffed toys, and bones and balls and everything.... haha. But what I am mosltly scared of is the larger dog hurting him at play, not on purpose, my husband is really wanting a boxer or something like that. I am trying to see if it is at all safe, and it seems to me it is not. Expecially since he is so small.

Our boxer, Seamus, is so gentle. Our neighbor has a 2 pd Chi and Seamus treats her like a new born baby. He just licks her all over. It is funny to see my yorkie and neighbors chi play with our boxer. Seamus lays on the ground while the others are jumping on his head, hanging on his ears and lips. I do have to tell you that this would have never been possible when Seamus was a puppy (he is 6 yrs). I took Seamus 5 years to out grow the puppy stage. The funny thing is that when he plays with my friends German Shepherd it is a whole different ball game. They run and wrestle rough.

I agree, I think it would be just fine to get another dog...(large or small) just as long as you didn't leave them together by themselves when you leave...I would crate both of them.
