OMG has anyone seen a Morkie?? I was walking around the block a few times the other day after eating 2 plates of barbecued chicken, burgers, salmon (and more)..... and I saw this lady with this tiny little lover and she told me he was a Morkie puppy, Yorkie Maltese Mix.. he was the cutest thing I've ever seen (besides my diesel). Every time I walked around the block and met up with her she would just hand me the dog.. it was so funny, my friends were laughing at me but i can't help it.. when i see a puppy I go crazy for it!!!

I've only seen a couple of Morkies and personally, I wasn't that impressed. I'm sure that there are cute ones out there, but I haven't seen them.

Also, if it was an accidental breeding, I don't have a problem with it. But you see a lot of Morkies for sale which means that they were intentionaly bred to be a designer pup. Although my mom has a maltese...I get to baby sit occasionally...I don't know enough about the breed. But, I would not intentionally breed her malt to my yorkie.

Im not condoning mixes, but Morkies or yorktese's that I Have seen are really cute!

I saw the cutest little dog at our local fair and just had to ask what it was and it was a morkie. It was the color that is pretty odd to get. It was all gold. Looked completely like a maltese only gold. It was very cute. I have seen some that did not mix up very cute. But when you cross breed you never know what you will get. I love the characteristics of each breed separately, I would never mix the two either. And I get asked that a lot, if I would breed my maltese to a yorkie.

I believe Rachel's little Stormy on this forum is a Morkie. Stormy is a beauty. Check out his pictures.

A lot of Morkies aka Yorktese's are really adorable! I wanted one for awhile to be a buddy for Riley, but then I decided to get another Yorkie. That way, I knew what to expect. Here is a picture of three little Morkie puppies. Aren't they adorable?

I've seen a pomeranian/yorkie that was super cute too, dunno what they are named though...Porkies? :p They are really cute though. (Not condoning intentionally mixing breeds) Because sometimes uneducated buyers get a puppy based on his puppy cuteness and when the puppy grows out of it into a mixed dog, alot of them end up in kennels and shelters. :sad:

danacee~ My baby Rex is a Morkie. i cant figure out how to put a pic in posts but if u go to gallery-->member galleries--> rex'z momma u will see a picture of a "pure" Morkie! tell me the TRUTH if u think my baby is cute

I think Morkies are adorable. They are harder to find than yorkies though.
