| Here in Raleigh, North Carolina, the going rate is about $25 for a half hour visit. I'd say you got a deal! |

Last month I went on payday and it was a disaster The line practically went around the store, it took me a good 30 min. just to get to the regirster , then there was a rude lady blocking everyone talking on the phone I will never go to the commissary on payday, it's bad enough that it's always packed but on payday it's worse . But you can always tell when it's payday because all the stores are packed

LOL!! I know all about the commissary on payday. I spent 4 years AD in the AF and hubby is still in as a Air Traffic Controller. We usually plan our trips right before or a few days after | |

| I think your little one will be fine left alone for a couple hours while you're at the commissary, mine always have been and I have two. (I find it you get right there when the commissary opens at 9am you can get in and out fairly quickly). Just make sure to tire him out a bit before you go and he'll probably sleep the entire time. Do you have an Xpen to put him in with some food/water, toys and pads? He needs to learn you won't always be there every minute and he is going to have times where he's by himself. I'd say a neighbor who would charge you to watch a puppy is obviously not a friend so therefore I wouldn't consider leaving my puppy with a paid stranger. I'd feel better leaving him home alone in his Xpen to sleep and play with his toys.
