If you have a heavier dog, or 2 or 3 yorkies, the pet strollers really are great. They are excellent for taking the babies to dog-friendly outdoor events. You don't have to worry about them walking safely through the crowd and you don't have to watch like a hawk for larger dogs. If I don't want people to know there is a dog inside I just throw a baby blanket over the screened front, and the dogs can still see out the back. I have this one and I think the quality is great.

Awe! I was gonna get a coach carrier for Elphaba when I got my last preferred customer invite...but I saw it in person and it would be WAYYY too big for my little sweetie! he looks great in it though!

Vera Bradley makes a cute pet carrier, but it's styled like a purse. It holds up to 15 lbs. They also have many cute styles of purses that would hold your yorkie.

excuse my ignorance, but why do you all put your dogs in a purse??? not sure i follow the logic to that. please explain

So you can take them with you. I usually let my dogs walk or just carry them in my arms, but so many people stop to pet small dogs, or they get tired and it's easier to put them in a bag than to carry them.

It doesn't have to be a purse. I made a sling I use with Sammy. Sometimes in this weather I just stick her in my coat. We were at a festival last weekend and there were TONS of dogs there. Sam rode around in my bag the whole time, since she was much to small to navigate 6 inches of snow and sidewalks packed full of people. But she still likes to come with rather than stay at home alone.

Not every dog likes to do this. Loki would always prefer to stay in the car or just stay home in bed.

That bag is perfect! Almost. I woul dbe ordering it right now if it came in solid colours. I'm not a fan of the prints. A little too grandma's-quilt for me.

That shape and size is perfect, though.

I totally agree. I LOVE VB shapes/sizes but not thrilled with most of the patterns. They make brown and black purses, but the dog carrier doesn't come in those colors.

It makes it easy to take them places with you and is safer for the dog. It also allows you to sneak your dogs into places if you need to. When you take your dog in a store, they're not going to just let your dog walk in on a leash..they could pee or poop on the floor..better to be carried

I don't think I would use one often, and Jesse generally loves walking, but it would be a nice option when shopping for if I needed to hide him or if I just needed him confined while trying things on or paying.

HA HA. If you're evil, then so am I! I just have a regular hobo bag I bought from target. I sling it crossways over my shoulder and zip it halfway. Sometimes he sticks his head out of the top, but most of the time he snuggles down in the bag and takes a nap. I have snuck him him a ton of places that way, including Subway. Yeah, I'll probally be on the news soon. "Woman gets kicked out of restaurant for sneaking dog in!" Guess I've become one of those crazy yorkie people!

Omg, same thing with me! I was super excited to finally see it in person, but boy was a I disappointed. It's so huge, bulky and heavy I ended up using my invite to buy a Carryall for my mom (Christmas present) and a big Carly for myself
