| Post Neuter Question Hi All....I have a question for those of you that have neutered boys..... I had Barney and Bennie both neutered.....Barney weighed approx 5.5 and Bennie weighed 4.5 lbs....Since the neuter, I weighed Bennie cuz he felt so lite.....He is down to 4 lbs.....I know it is only a half a lb...But that is alot I think for these little guys.....Vet says that I shouldn't worry that he is healthy and it is not uncommon for a little weight loss but HELLO....These are my babies and Of Course, I worry..... Anyone else have one that lost weight after a neuter....It has been maybe 6 weeks...He eats but doesn't act like he is enjoying it ...So I am changing food....Linda is sending me samples to try..... Joyce

| Jesse is only 4 days post-neuter. His appetite seems as great as ever to me, so I can't imagine that he will lose any weight. He's an 8 pounder, though, so half a pound definitely won't concern me. You're right to worry about the little ones, though. Half a pound for a tiny dog is like 10 pounds for us. |

| I'm sorry your little man isn't himself, and hope he's all better soon.

| Thanks for your replies...I appreciate them..... Bennie plays fine and snuggles.......He just does not seem to have an appetite....So maybe it is a coincidence that the neuter and disinterest in the food happened about the same time???? Joyce

| Milo was neutered a pair of weeks ago and he's hungry as ever. In fact, the first thing he did when he came back from the vet after the op was going to the place where we keep his food and ask for it. |
