| Chloe and Snow Hi all... So, this is my first winter with Chloe....I realized she either doesn't snow or scared of snow!! She won't go out to potty on grass (cover by snow). Is it a Yorkie thing or just her? It is so funny to see her try to find a spot that is dry and not cover by snow to do her business! LOL!! So, is there a way I could teach her not to scared by snow? Thanks!! |

| Someone was talking about putting a little pup tent up so the dog could potty inside so as not to get wet from the rain or be in the snow. I thought that was a really cute idea. |

That sounds like a good idea! Max doesn't like the rain much and takes forever to finally decide he REALLY has to go when it's raining (luckily, it doesn't rain much here, which is maybe why he doesn't like it; he's just not used to it).....wonder if he'd actually use an area that was covered? It's sure worth a try . Such clever people here . Thanks for posting this! P.S. Hahahaha...I just realized...."PUP tent"....funny

| My dogs love the snow..... the three youngest pups that are 5 months old are little fur balls and it was really cold the lst morn we had 5 inches of snow on the ground and let them out and when I went back out to let them in they were all on top of Godiva rolling around in the snow.... they were having a ball... |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie won't go out in it either. I got her last January and she was 13 months and neve been out so I pad trained her like Cali but she wasn't getting it and decided to go outside like my pom, which worked great until it started snowing every other day here. I shoveled almost the whole area I have fenced off for them and she went out yesterday but now it's snowing again and she won't go out. I like the idea of a pup tent too.
