40 Yorkies Rescued in Spring, TX!!!! - Page 2 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I'm so sad for the conditions these poor babies had to live in but excited as I live in the Houston area and that means I have the oportunity to rescue one of the dogs. I will have to be alert and go to the Houston SPCA to see if I can adopt one.

Those poor babies. Thank heavens they were rescued.
I guess the people will be fined or given a slap on the wrist
and sent home to start all over again.

Makes me sick.

I will do my best to get two. One for you and one for me.

Oh i'm so happy as I've been wanting to get one for a while so that Max can have a companion and now there is a possibility that it will happen.

I cannot believe this, my heart is broken for those yorkies...

So now for those new Yter's who have been asking about rescue yorkies, this is the time to see this thread. I am sure you could get a yorkie so in need of being in a forever home and loved...spending the rest of their days in the lap of some one who loves them...

I wasn't going to post again on this thread,

But had to comment....Yes your right. the sad part is, yes they will just start again, because the laws are not stiff enough for these kind of people.

Any news on these yorkies? Whoever is going to H-ASPCA will you let me know how the babies are and if they are available for adoption yet? If so I would love to go get one!

I emailed my niece, who has been wanting a dog. She lives in Texas, so she may have already heard it. Oh those poor babies. And that sweet little girl with the broken leg. It just makes you want to scoop them all up and bring them home.

My sister lives in Spring and I'm only about 40 miles away in Bacliff, a little south of Kemah. I will try this week to get more info also.

Keep praying for these babies - and the former owners as they probably need the prayers more than anyone. Only God can change a bad heart.

ME TOO ! I couldn't see the article and didn't hear it on the news but that poor baby with the broken leg - I can't imagine the pain she endured -

People can really SUCK. I hope all those yorkies go to the best homes ever - they deserve not one more minute of sadness and cruelty.

thank you - that worked and I watched it - BLESS that baby's heart - she looked so scared and that was a HORRIBLE BREAK on her poor leg -

I'll pray for those people too - I pray they get just what they deserve

Just an update. I checked out the website for Houston SPCA and they have not put the yorkies up for adoption yet. They do mention them, but say to check back at a later date. They have already put some of the farm animals that were seized from Spring, TX up for adoption. So it shouldn't be long before the yorkies are ready.

YAY! That means that yesterday the court awarded the animals to the State. Good news! Now those puppies can find the peace they deserve!
