Pure white or silver yorkies, please. 3 Attachment(s) Am not sure if this thread has been covered before, but id love to see pics of anyone who has a pure white or pure silver yorkie.:) . My boots is 2yo and she just keeps getting whiter and whiter. I think she is turning into Maltese.:D . She was just the colour of a normal yorkie pup when she was born. awe, she is very pretty!! i have never seen a pure white or pure silver before. usually, when i think i have seen one, the owners say they are mixed with maltese. :) she is very pretty |

I have never seen a pure white one but I have heard there are some. I can't see your pictures for some reason right now but is your dog more silver than mine? One of my females, the older she gets, the more her so called 'blue" is lightening up to a silver and gold color. On the other hand, the older Ceeby has gotten, the darker he has become. he hardly even looks like the picture in my avatar anymore. He is more the correct color now. |
3 Attachment(s) Here's our beloved Boog dog (AKA Little Man Tate) when he was a puppy and then as an adult. He was always very light and breeders asked me several times to use him but he was neutered at a very early age due to health issues. By the time we lost him, at almost 13, he was very light in color. I miss him..... |

I have two, one who looks like the more "typical" coloring and the other gets more and more light as she ages. I haven't a clue as to why but it makes life interesting. |
how old How old is your yorkie. Like my salt and pepper schnauzer has gotten older and went from almost black in her youth to NO black (pepper) in her old age. I love sugarmom's silver yorkie... I can't see your pics very well w/o my glasses! |

My little girl is getting lighter as she gets older also. She's about a year and a half now and she's already almost completely white. When she was a puppy she looked just like every other Yorkie. I've wondered why this is myself. |
1 Attachment(s) My Krissy was mostly silver and then got darker after having a littler. She lightened up again and got dark after her second litter. Here she is light but you can see the closer to her skin the darker she is. |
