| Master manipulator Okay -- do any of you have a little monster who is a master and trying to manipulate you to do what he wants? Well, I do! Archibald's pet peeve (no pun intended) is when I talk on the phone. Yesterday, I was talking to a friend and Archie began to make a noise like he was going to throw up. So, I got off the phone to attend to him. Well, wouldn't you know it -- the click of the phone being turned off cured him! This evening I was talking to my cousin and here was his plan of attack: 1. He climbed up my body and nearly sat on my face. I kept talking. 2. Then he stood in the floor and made this little "grrrrrr ... grrrrrr" noise under his breath. I ignored him. 3. Then he grabbed a toy and started running up and down the hall in front of me, being ever so cute and friskie. This made me laugh, so ... 4. He grabbed his Nylabone and began chewing furiously, laying on his back with his back paws waving all around. I'm a sucker for this cuteness, but I kept on talking. 5. He grabbed my toes and started biting them. This hurt, so I scolded him but kept talking. 6. Finally, he just stood in the floor and stared at me. After a couple of minutes, he gave up in disgust and fell asleep in my lap. Lil' Stinka!

| Awwwwww it sounds all so cute when you read it but when your going threw it don't ya want to scream at times. I swear these little ones can be more demanding than a two year old! They are so clever ,always one step in front of us. But don't you just love it too? Buddy does the same thing I guess it's something they are born with. Look at me, play with me, sit with me, talk to me. Me, me, me. That's a Yorkie. |
