How often to you give a bath to you furbutt?

Once a week but by day 5 or so they start looking unkept.

Once a week usually....but she could use one every 4-5 days.

3 to 4 times a year..mine are strictly inside(pee pad)..My oldest one was getting bathed more often when I bought her, as after a week, she would look greasy..once I quit bathing her so much, her hair quit looking greasy, and is very nice now..she could go without being combed for a couple weeks(I do brush her about everyday now)and could still be combed right through..

I bathe my Tobi once a week too (with soap)..and, I was given a LECTURE today by someone in the pet nutrition store about how I should only bath my dog 3 to 4 times a YEAR!

Saturday mornings Tetley hops in the shower with me. He really doesn't seem to mind his weekly shower - he loves the water.

Teddi takes a shower with me once a week. I was at my parents house yesterday and she loved the shower in one of the bathrooms there because she could just walk in (instead of me having to pick her up to get over the tub). It is also a big shower so she came in a walked around and waiting for me to finish showering so I could bathe her. Her favorite part is the blow drying. She LOVES that. I just wrap her ina towel and put her in the sink and blow dry her. She loves how cozy mozy it is.

I bath Suzy about every 10 days, sooner if she gets all grotty.

This is for the same reason I get mine done 3-4 times a year..The groomer(my neighbor) told me that you're washing the natural oils out of their hair when you bathe them too much, which in the long run will end up ruining their hair..I have mine done 3-4 times a year, with the shih tzu, I usually do hers twice a year..They have wipes you can use in between..My yorkie always used to look oily after a few days of bathing her when I use to bathe her once a week(when she was a puppy), well, once I quit bathing her so much, her hair got shiny..

Mine get bathed 1x a week also! I agree, by the 7th day they really need it!

really??? That is very interesting. So now your yorkie don't look dirty or oily? How long did it take before the change?
