| stares" I saw on here somewhere, someone else had a dog that will just stare into space, like there's nothing going on upstairs. My silky does this at times, and at other times can't make a decision, example: should I go in the house with Mom, or in the garage with dad, so just stands there. She is a otherwise heathy dog (she is on phenobarb for seizures) Very good in the house, plays with the little Yorkie pup, eats good, all that stuff. Shes five years old, could it be early alzheimers? We just have to look out for her, we do anyway, just couious if anyone out there has seen this |

| My JRT will sometimes just stare a few inches over my head. It always freaks me out. He's done it since he was a puppy. |

| Maggie stares at hallways... And I gotta add that I HATE hallways, specially the long ones, since I was a child - And we've got 2 hw in our apt, and the one leading to the bedrooms is looong Hannah, now, is doing the same as Maggie, she just stares at empty space or at something invisible hanging high on the hallway's wall... Sometimes the girls growl at "it" but NEVER get too close of "it".... Creeps me out of my mind when they do that....... |

| I used to have a Schnauzer that would stare a lot like that. I think his eyesight was going bad and he couldn't see very well. He did go blind eventually but I dont know if that had anything to do with his staring and blank looks. The other dog I had at the same time didn't stare so if it was spirits I think he was the only one who saw them.
