| I really think your puppy choice should be about personality and not necessarily sex. I thought I was going to want a girl, but when I got there, Teddy "picked" me, he didn't really give me a choice in the matter He was just the sweetest little thing and immediately ran up to me and wanted me to pick him up and gave kisses, he melted my heart and I didn't even give the girls a second look.Good luck in your puppy quest !

| I have 2 little boys(brothers)...they are the most affectionate and loving little boys. One of my daughters has a little girl....Her girl is loving but not near as affectionate as the boys are...Even my daughter has commented on it.... So I do not think you can go wrong with either choice..... As for dressing, I dress my boys in their little vests and harness sets and they do wear hair clips and bands and bows...They look very boyish and no one has mistaken them for girls yet...There are some great YT'ers here that make really cute "BOY" bows.... | I knew going into it what type of personality I wanted. I told my breeder that I wanted a laid back less dominant lap puppy. When I went to meet her puppies, she pointed out the pup that was like that. He happened to be a boy and I have to admit that I had my reservations because like everyone elso I wanted a girl to dress up and cuddle with. I was also afraid of marking and dominance. Well, he has been an absolute dream! He is the snuggliest most darling little thing and not at all dominant or crazy! He had a brother and two sisters. His brother was crazy bouncing off everthing! And pretty dominant. She said my puppy was the most laid back and snuggly of the four. I decided to take him home and I have never regretted it. My advice is to meet the puppies and take it from there. Tell the breeder what you are looking for personality-wise and try not to look at gender so much. I could have gotton a female just for the sake of gender and probabally not been as happy as I am with this little guy. Good Luck! |
