Great post! As a groomer I've seen cases where the dog is nothing but one huge mat and I know it's going to take hours to get the dog shaved and bathed. I did a Shih Tzu once that took what seemed forever to groom. It was just one giant mat and smelt of pee. That lady couldn't pay me enough to groom her dog. I only got $30 out of the deal. Any good groomer is going to take their time. It always takes me at least 2 hours on a dog, (I am still new at it too), but I would be grateful they weren't rushing through it.
