| not sure about the coat changing but for training just have patience and be persistent!! If you take them outside and shes not doing anything then only wait 15 mins and then go back in and maybe wait 15 more mins and then take out again. Ceasar millian says that sometimes dogs forget what they are going outside for. So do let them be outside for more than 15 mins trying to get them to potty because then they think they are out there to play. i say if its a puppy as for how long between each regular go out every 30 mins.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Bellas coat changed for the better but that could be just how it was supposed to be....maybe had nothing to do with spay as her coat was breaking at the same time.

| My Yorkie was spayed a month ago. Her coat has not changed. Her personality has not changed. The is recovering nicely but was out of it the first day and pretty tired for a few days after that.

| I've always had all my dogs spayed/neutered..they have always done fine.. Of course, our vet never lets up pick the females up until the next day, they've usually always laid around the day I pick them up, and back to their old selves the next day. As far as housebreaking, I use the pee pads, and have always gotten them trained very quickly..I used to do the outside training, until I had a shih tzu get run over(on purpose), so, now, it's strictly pee pad..good luck |

| I had Penny spayed and her coat didn't change. Are you trying to train for inside or out?
