Very well said. I'm glad you decided to support your freinds decision for whatever reasons she had. :yorkiesar |
This isn't directed at anyone in particular.. Just as some say that that it isn't fair to assume that one would never rehome a pet it isn't fair for YOU to say something like "never say never." |

I agree with you Misty.....never say never......I have no problems with PMs....sometimes you think of things, not even on a YT forum level, but are more private amongst friends....better than taking over a thread, which I've been guilty of on a few occassions. Another pet peeve I have is when discussions are not going the way a person likes them, they immediately hit the report key.....I particularly don't like that....dicussions are going along fine, just not the way a person wants it to go, or doesn't like the sound of it. Hinder's education. As far as rehoming a dog.....I've never had to do it (never say never), I don't approve of it, but everyone's situation is different. If you're rehoming because of children, kids should come first, ....but, most everyone knows my rules on placing my dogs with young marrieds or young children. |

I would normally keep my mouth shut on this subject but here goes LOL....I use to say I wouldn't re-home any of my yorkies and some of them I can say will never go anywhere but I will be re-homing a retired show bitch sometime within the upcoming year. And I agree with one of the posters here I probably love my dogs more than I do most people. I wouldn't even give my dogs up for my husband or child and I love them both dearly. So really in order to live with me you have to live with my dogs...but again, I will be re-homing this retired show female and eventually in the future I will have more retired show dogs that will be re-homed. The pets I have now will be mine until they cross over to rainbow bridge. To really love my show dogs re-homing them into a loving home after they are retired is really in their best interest. The pet yorkies I have now you couldn't pry them away from me even if I were flat broke, living in my car, lost my job, whatever they just aren't going anywhere...we'll eat out of garbage cans together if we have too :) Anyway like it or not it's me and the way I do things plain and simple! Like or Not oh well..... Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
