Actually hes a she lol. Shes not ready yet I still have a couple of weeks. But Im having cold feet lol. This is my first yorkie and first pest in the house.

Welcome to yt. She is beautiful. Don't get cold feet. Murfee is my first yorkie too and he is awesome.

Hey, I'm in the same boat. I'm getting my first dog, which is a yorkie, and I convinced my family to let me be his mom! So I am nervous too! But I would recommend a dog for anyone. They are simply a "man's best friend."

I hope you get HER!!! Hehehe.

Don't get cold feet. There will be tough times and sometimes you might wanna pull your hair out, but the good times actually out number the bad by a long shot. I first was hesitant about getting a Yorkie too, but now I'm glad I did. I'm now in the process of looking for another one.

And not to be nosey, but I was wondering if you were from Alabama? I think you might live in my home town.

Ooooooooops my bad lol...SHE is precious and adorable and even though your nervous you will love having a yorkie..they are the best!!! Its difficult at first and I wont lie..housebreaking and training is hard but WELL worth it!! You have us if you have any questions or concerns as YT is a terrific family, support group..whatever you need us to be!!

How old will she be when you get her? Make sure she is at least 12 weeks old and you won't have any trouble. Also make sure the breeder is open to you calling with questions. And don't forget that you can always come to YT for help with that adorable little puppy! what are you going to name her?

Yorkies are wonderful loveable and very additive little guys...not too many people only end up with one..lol

I agree that they are harder to train if your not consistant for months..but if you are willing to be that way from the start, with the house training, then you will have a great trained puppy that will treasure you as long as her little heart beats... she looks like a

I have 4 and I love everyone of them and could not live happily again with them in my life..
And this is the best place for help. there was not a forum like this when I started with yorkies over 18 years ago.

he is just right. Usually if a puppies hair looks thin or oily, they are going to be a silky coated adult.
