| Does a puppy's hair stay thin? I have another question. I read somewhere that a puppy that has thin hair as a pup, will have great hair as an adult. Is this true? I saw one yesterday that is 9 weeks old. She had rather thin hair but the mom and dad had alot. Can you tell me how their coat grows. She was a total doll so I was curious what are her chances of having a good coat are. She has really pretty dark gold markings on her face and legs. Thanks for all the help on my questions. |

| Puppies grow fast & they loose their puppy coat while the new hair is coming in. Also the hair on the top of their head changes color around 3 mos old and will look almost white and you think they're going bald!!!(remember that they're growing so that thins the hair out also.)

| Mine have nice thick hair. When Penny was younger it was thin, but it had gotten thicker.
