| I think most vets(at least the ones in SC), want to wait until 5-6 mos...some may do them at 4, but, from what he said when I got these, is that it's safer with them being so small, to wait until 5-6 mos. I know a lady that was on a forum I was in, that took her little boy in at 4 mos. she lived in WI, anyway, she lost her little boy, they never gave her a reason why, but, she was devastated.. |

| max was neutered at almost 5 months, he didn't mark before the surgery and now he is going on a year and still squats to pee. he has never lifted his leg to mark anything in my home. He was a dream to potty train! I got him from a petshop and the first night home he was using the pad, so technically I didn't even have to potty train.

| I love males and once you have them neutered they won't mark. There is also stuff you can spray (non toxic) on your furniture etc. That will keep them from marking. As far as the breeders concerned if they're worth their weight they will be happy if you may an informed decision. There's nothing wrong with saying you need to think about it, and will get back to her.
