| Saturday i hope!! I hope it's Saturday! She told me her friend "might" be going to Dallas on Saturday. If not it would not be until next week. I am getting ready to start demanding! She already has my money and I want my baby!!! I am getting frustrated because I e-mailed her today and have not yet gotten anything in return. I am not getting too freaked out yet because I have heard from 2 other people that got pups from her so I don't think she has taken my money and ran. I just want some communication here! I'll keep ya'll posted.

| Probably won't be until next week. She finally e-mailed me this morning and told me tht she could not get to me yesterday because she went to Dallas to ship other puppies at 4:00 in the morning and found out that American Airlines was not shipping animals at this time. She said that she was on the phone trying to find other airlines, flights, etc. and calling new owners to let them know. If all of that is true, I totally understand. I just told her to let me know something so that I can plan because I have to drive to San Antonio to pick him up. I'll keep you posted.

| Just from what I know since I had 2 puppies shipped to me this past Thursday...American Airlines has an embargo on shipping animals right now because of the heat in their hub city of Dallas. They won't ship any animals anywhere in the US right now from what I was told by AA last week. Since Continental doesn't ship into the state in which I live or anywhere very close, we were stuck with calling all of the other airlines that ship from Oklahoma to Tennessee and finding out that every single one of them had an 85 degree limit on the high temperature for every city along the way. My puppies flew in from Tulsa, to Memphis, to Nashville and just BARELY got on. If the weather in TX is what I think it is, then it may be a WHILE before you're going to be able to ship your puppy. I don't know what the breeder is finding, but if she's in TX, she's more than likely not having much luck.

| Well I recently sold a puppy that had the possbility of being shipped (she did not have to be) and in calling the different airlines, American actually referred me to Contennintal. Apparently Contennintal can do it in this hot weather because the animals are taken from the plane to an airconditioned van and then driven to an a/ced waiting site. I had mentioned this to her beforehand, but she said that she had never had trouble shipping w/ American as long as it was not 85 degs. at the time tha the puppy arrived in the destination airport. She said that she usually has to put the pups on 5 & 6 o'clock flights. When I spoke w/ American, I was under the impression that if a city had already hit 85 this summer that it was off limits- regardless of the temp. in the mornings. Who knows, she has done this a lot more than me. I will just keep my fingers crossed that he gets here safely and in good health. It may even get to the point that I have to drive up and meet her, which I will do.

| Beth- I got Tino from Kim in August and I can promise you that the weather was over 85 degrees in both Dallas and the Carolinas!! She sent him on American as well. He arrived here at 1:30pm which would be the height of the heat of the day... Like I said before he arrived happy and healthy! All smiles and full of love! This must be a new American Airlines policy. How far is the drive?

| The drive to Henrietta is about 8 hours. I think that she would meet me in Dallas though and that is about 5.5-6 hours for me.

| I'd make the drive. It's a lot safer and less stressfull on the dog. I had a dog shipped from Texas and I'll never do it again. She was so stressed and so scared when I picked her up. It took her a long time to get over the experience. |
