				   | Hi all, I am wanting to buy some hair bands to make some of my own ribbons for my boy's topknot. What size is best to use for silky sleek hair? I love the bows some of you all make and sell on your websites, and if I had the resources to buy all that I wanted, I would. But such is life! Thanks in advance for your input. ~Melody~

				   | I used to make my own bows. I use 7/8 satin ribbon and tie it on a small barrett with matching thread. Or you can tie the bow onto a small rubber band like the kind they use for braces. Then I stick dowl pins through th loops of the bow and stiffen the bow with hair spray or fabric stiffening. |
