I am sure that's true in Dallas, too! Everyone wants one of our puppies. I just keep saying they are not for sale. One x-co-worker wants to trade me a girl for a computer. I am considering it. I just don't think I can part with anyone.

that would be me ! I know breeders fall in love and have to part with the puppies so we can be able to have our own puppy - but I would not be a good breeder -

I could hardly babysit my co-workers yorkie - I wanted to take him home !

Oh! Neuter and Spay all around. I will probably end up with 7 and can't go through this again. It is fun, but I just don't think anyone can take care of them like I can; and I love them all (and they love me,too)

They do go fast in Dallas as well. I work with a lady whom has a neighbor that is a broker. She brings pups in from Oklahoma and Kansas and sells them thru the Dallas Morning News. The pups are not what I would consider to be good quality.

As a breeder also I feel like word of mouth is your best adveristment. You be bad to one person and its like a fire. The same as you sell quilty pups and your phone will rang off....

Hey Bentley is in a playpen. But it was my child's it is speical to me becasue hubby bought it without me knowing and it is spotless. I don't agree with breeders keeping dogs in ANY unclean living quarters. That makes me sick! How would they feel if THEY were stuck in a playpen full of runny dookie? Mine is in his crib at night and is out ALL day. I wake up in the morning and let him out to pee and poop and he's allowed to ROAM the rest of the day. I plan to breed Yorkies and Maltese. Both in home and ON carpet. My dogs may be breeding stock to any miller BUt they are my pets and regardless if they ever reproduce on not, they are loved cherished AND SPOILED ROTTEN. =)
