[QUOTE=Missy's Mommy]I was thinking the same thing, but was hoping you'd post since you would be more experienced to tell if that was a Biewer than I. I was thinking the same thing - I can't judge the looks either because there are so few of them.....but Wizard of Claws is one site/broker everyone needs to be warned to stay away from - I'm sure some people have had healthy puppies from them - but man ...are they bad news.

| Could she tell? Was it yes or a no? Soem tri-colors look like Biewers and are actually just partis I guess since they didn't come directly from the Biewer line. What is it Rini when a Biewer is bred with an American Tri-color? |

IMO, a well-bred AKC registered black and tan with Parti markings,,that is how AKC registers them..should be as valuable as a Biewer of equal markings and texture. My guy, Remi, a parti color, has markings that look very much like Ilsa my Biewer female. As Villette said, they are on my album..at least, some of them.. | |

| I was going to say that the lighting looks intentional. the puppy looks sickly, greasy and very very young.

" frankly cannot tell if it is a Biewer. The lighting and pics are extremely poor quality--maybe that is intentional. I cannot even really tell that is is a parti or tri color. No matter..it looks sickly and nothing like the probably 20 Biewer puppies I have seen. I have 3 myself and Pat has one. I have friends who have several and nothing looks like that. " That made it clear to me b/c that statement is coming from someone that breeds Yorkies and owns both Partis and Beiwers... If she can't tell then that says ALOT!

| So is wizard of claws a puppymill or a broker? I agree with everyone here. You figure for 10g they could've afford better lighting and a close-up shot. They sure have alot of puppy for sale. They must be a puppymill or somewhat like that. Whispersmom2:I love your yorkies, they are adorable. When I thought of Biewer that's what I had in mind.

| Who really knows the parentage of the puppy really is. $10,000.00 is way too much of a asking price. Will the puppy sale? Asking prices for some nice Biewers are around $3,500.00 with fulll registartion on a female. Yep there are a lot of folks out there with more money then brains. Just look at the postings on this website- the puppies that members want you to critique or they are bragging about purchasing. Many of these puppies are priced more at 6-8 weeks of age then nice puppies from serious breeders- who are trying to breed sound, healthy, happy babies that are 3 months to 6 months of age. It seems like common sense hits the door when some folks look for a puppy. Yorkies become very addicting and when you get in that purchase mode- part of your brain tells you no- but the other weak half tells you do it- take a chance. You take that chance and then 3 months later- you look back and say what was I thinking. wnalegria |
