| Dogs v. kids I was noticing how much getting Pita ready to go to work in the morning is like having a kid. I have to pack her lunch, get her toys together, make sure we have pee pee pads, brush her and put her hair back and then she goes in her carseat with me to the office. I love it!!! I have had 2 girls and didn't realize how much I missed taking care of them. Of course Pita doesn't whine at me or lose her homework or oversleep.... Maybe I should have had the dog first?? |

| Oh yes I have totally noticed this...Every morning Bruce and I get up, I fix his breakfast and get ready myself while he eats and plays with his toys. Then I brush and dress him for the day, pack his lunch, and take him off to daycare and he rides in a carseat too. When I pick him up I go over how he did that day with his "teacher" and it is off to put him down for a nap while I fix dinner. I do not think I will ever have children, but Bruce is my baby and I am sure I love him just as much as I could love a real child, so I will settle for yorkies!!! |

| LOL...I say the same thing to everyone having a yorkie is like having a kid...I wake up early to brush his teeth..give him a puppy wipe "wipe down"..brush his hair..feed his breakfast..then I can take a shower....I then play with him and if I am taking him to work..get his "diaper bag" ready complete with pee pee pads, toys, a blankie (for naps), puppy wipes to clean his botty in case it sticks, treats and dishes and food plus bottled water

| I take my son to the park every day and we take Chewy most days to and it is ike packing the diaper bag, nutrical, food, water, etc...You have to start anticipating again, and I never go anywhere without wipes. |

| MY baby I don't have any skin babies but having my nephew with me a lot and having Coco with me, feeeeels like 2 kids, especially when I take them both to the store. She wants to get down, he wants candy and I am being the flustered mom in the aisles...hehe...but I love it. Yea getting Coco's diaper bag ready for an outting is at least a 20 minute task, not to mention getting her ready. I'd say I'm well prepared for my own skin babies now.

| Definitely wipes are sooo important in the bag!! Also a spare shirt and barrettes! Nobody would know pitas bag is a doggy bag until they saw the food and and even then it smells like sausage and there's cheese mixed with it like you would give a toddler LOL! |

| kids My human girls used to say I cared more about the dogs well being then theirs..LOL Not true..but a sick dog was a bigger worry then a sick child for me...if my child got sick, I had tons of resources to call upon..911, the ER, doctors everywhere and good health insurance that paid for it. The first 10yrs I had dogs the ER was an hour away and not very good vets there to boot. I have never had a child at deaths door, but several Yorkies and it was awful. |

| I'm glad to hear so many people refer to the bags as "diaper bags". My friends think I'm crazy when I call mine her diaper bag. I have had Asia only since march but my friends think I have lost it when they see some of the things I do for her. With Potty training, hair cuts, car seats, school and cloths they are just like kids only better. (sorry to those who have real kids) |
