:D I have laugh, I am the mom of six beautiful human babies and one beautiful fur baby! I do adore all of my kids :p , but they can drive you just crazy sometimes  , esp when you have triplets and another all 4 and under  . Bridget is good she behaves very well for a little one, doesnt whine and complain about who took what toy from her, and doesnt bite, (which is more than I can say about my 3 year old!!!) I love all my kids and would never want to be without any of them, Bridget is just easier to deal with at times. Maybe that is why she is so spoiled. (when daddy and I go out on dates, she usually gets to sneak along.) People think I am crazy to treat my Bridget  the way I do, but yes I am compleatly wrapped around her little paw :p , and I wouldnt have it any other way! |
No desire here either. I have been "fixed" and Asia is getting fixed in 2 weeks. So no being a grandma either. |
I've had both now, my kids are 18 & 20, I love them like crazy and I never would have thought I could have lived without them. I think you can be happy without kids. Mine were not horrible or anything, don't get me wrong, I am grateful every day for my girls.. BUT what I am trying to gracefully say here is.. in this day and age where raising kids, let alone finding a good guy to do it with, is not easy. I can see where dogs would be a perfectly reasonable substitute. Before Pita, I would have never thought it, I have always had big outside type dogs that didn't require the same things as Pita, she's more like having a baby. Now, I can see it and I wouldn't blame any of you for not wanting to have skin kids!! |
Marlee, you have all that AND you are making doggie clothes??? |
Can I say....Supermom!!!!!!!...lol, my mom was going crazy with 2 of us in the house..she was like "yeah please go eat at your friends..see if they will adopt you...you monsters..lol"...she doesn't even know what a sewing needle looks like ... or a pan for that matter...lol |
Sounds like home. My youngest human child is 37, so having Maggie really brings back the memories. By the time I get her dressed, hair combed, pack her diaper bag with toys, food, water and blankie. Load her in the carseat, and make sure the stroller is in the back----well, lets put it this way. I'm not as young as I was 37 years ago, so by the time I get all this done--I'm pooped and sometimes forget where we are going. |
:lol tears :lol tears You are tooo funny Stitches!! |
I tell my children often when they are driving me crazy that they are all lucky I did not discover yorkies until after they were born. I love my human kids to death but I doubt I will ever have to go through my puppy drawing stars on the roof of my brand new car with permanent marker! |

How cute, You guys are lucky that you have a job that allows you to bring your dog. I am so surprised how many people on YT do that. I work at home now so I get to see my babies all day but when I worked at an office they wouod have just died if I brought a dog. |
I am SO jealous! I WISH I could bring my babies to work w/ me!! :( |
