Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I would be upset too. but it does grow back pretty fast. I always spend time with the groomer and go over exactly what I want done. She was a yorkie show breeder at one time and knows that I want the long coat. Maybe when you take him to another groomer you can justsay trim him up a bit as they see to take off more than you want most places. He is a doll

| ![]() Awwwww, I know how you feel - I felt the same way when Roxy got butchered at PetCo. But Niko is still Niko - as cute as he can be . Many of the YT folks have been there, and even with all of our stressing out over bad haircuts, their hair does grow back ![]()

| ![]() Same thing happened to me before. I now have a groomer come to the house. He is still adorable, but I would never go back.

| ![]() Isn't the bigger the number blade the longer the hair that is left? That is the way it is in my hubby's army hair cuts... a 1 is bald...2 really short 3 good... 4 kicked out of the army...lol If it is that way and she said she would use a 3.... and she used a 5... stay very far away. My mom has a very hard time finding groomers doing puppy cuts for her maltese... one has a puppy cut the other a full coat... she finally took in a pic of a puppy cut.... w/ ears cut like a little girl's bob and they got it right. Try taking a pic next time. Btw...we had to have Chloe shaved reallty close.... she got into sticktights in my neighbors yard and w/ her hair... there was no saving it... we saved a small...very small saddle and her head hair....lol... she looked like a lion for about 3 months! |

opposite, the bigger the number the shorter. They use a 50 blade in vets for surgery. I use a 40 on my yorkies ears.

| ![]() the shorter the hair. We usually use a 3 or a comb for the puppy cut, unless they are matted and cannot get the 3 through their hair. A 10 is used on the belly and for sanitary cuts. 30 is used for pads. Just thought that I would share this. Your puppy is still one BEAUTIFUL little yorkie!!!!! I'm sorry you didn't get the cut that you wanted!

| ![]() the bigger the number the longer the hair ... wouldn't that be if you were talking about the guards not the blades?
