Chattanooga Yorkie Meetup!!! Hey everyone!! I'm so excited that I get to go pick up Dash today!!!! I know there are some YT members from Chattanooga, TN (and the surrounding areas - Signal, Lookout, Soddy, Red Bank, etc.) and wondered if you guys wanted to meet at Coolidge any time soon? I know Dash will want to make as many friends as possible, so let me know!!! Thanks!!!

Well I live in Soddy Daisy, up flat top mountain. I won't get my little Millie Sage (Chamomille Sage) for another 2 wks. But I would love to do a Yorkie Meet up. It's part of my agenda to get her socialized. So if you can wait for a couple or three weeks, that would be great.

August? How about some time in August?? Let me know what's good for everyone. Is Coolidge a good place to meet? I figure it's fairly central. Let me know!

August is good, but on the week-end. I work 5 days a week. Also, I love coolige park but do they have a fenced in area to let the dogs free (off leash?). There is the dog park behind the 1st Tennessee Pavillion (where they hold the Chattanooga Farmer's Market on Sundays) and that is fenced in. I think they have a "big" dog fenced area and a "little" dog fenced area. I have never been there, but another dog owner told me of it.

Dog Park It's funny that you said that - my co-worker just told me about that dog park. I had NO idea it was there!! That would be a great place to meet, maybe on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

If we do it on a Sunday, we can attend the Farmer's Market at the same time too. (do both). Dogs are allowed in the pavillion. Here is their calander http://www.chattanoogamarket.com/calendar.php. they actually are having Dog Daze on 8/28/05. Everybody brings their dogs. This is a popular day and gets quite crowded so we may want to consider a quiter time to do our meetup. Or we may wish to adopt "the more the merrier" philosphy. I am not cemented to any one Idea. just throwing stuff out there.
