| greasy coat beagan seems like he has a greasy coat like as soon as 3 days after a bath. is this normal. its really not greasy like our hair gets but it has a greasy look to it.... any suggestions?

| How often are you bathing? The groomer I use lives next door to me..A couple years ago, she said that people are bathing their yorkies much too frequently..I had the same problem with Haley when she was younger, her hair was always greasy looking, so I would bathe her...The groomer told me to stop doing that, that thats what was causing her hair to look so greasy..Now, she gets groomed 3-4 times a year, and her hair is beautiful..the greasy look finally went away.. |

| Well, from what the groomer said(and shes been grooming a long time), she said that when you bathe so much, you're washing the natural oils out of their hair..Like I said, mine went through the greasy stage when I was bathing her too much(when she was younger)..Mine use pee pads, so aren't outside all the time, therefore, they don't have that "ouside air doggie smell"..Try using some wipes on hiim if he stinks..does he go outside or he is inside? |
