BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Heres one for ya! I took my daughter to a birthday party yesterday, she was to be dropped off at Ramada. A old friend comes up to me and he ask me if I know where he can get a 1 or 2 week old yorkie puppy? I think my tongue dropped out of my mouth! I said "you are not going to find a 1 or 2 week old puppy, they need to be with there mother for at least 10 to 12 weeks of age" We continued to talk and he wants to buy a yorkie for his g/f but only wants to spend $100-$300. I really wish more people would do there research before jumping into buying a dog of any breed. There is so much to know and people see this cute lil ball of fur and they have no idea what they are getting into! Last edited by yougetthesmiles; 11-11-2007 at 02:50 PM. |

| I hate it when i meet people who dont know anything about the dog they have. I encounter it all the time especially since yorkies are as common as babies in NY. It seems like everyone has one lately!!!! Can you get ANY dog for 100 bucks? Can you get a hampster for 100 bucks? |

| That is really scary! I was out and about w/Mckenzie yesterday and a couple was talking about how they have a yorkie as small as her they just got for 300 because she "might have a liver issue". I was like "what?", "might?" Mckenzie was shaking from being nervous and they were like yeah she does that all the time, so maybe she doesn't have a liver problem, she looks just like yours. I don't know what kind of breeder would sell a small baby that "might have a liver problem", wouldnt they get testing done? Some people |

| I don't know how you keep your cool. I did so much research before I got Deiter. I had wanted a yorkie for a very long time, But just in the year before I decided to get one. I read and read so much about them. Then I came here and read, and read. I know I didn't want to go into a yorkie owner and not no nothing. And I am so glad I did, But the best thing is I found all of you wonderful, helpful people. Yes, people really need to do research before getting a yorkie. I just can't not imagine going into that and no nothing.
