| Only 13 days until we get our baby! We are *so* excited about getting our baby Peanut on November 21. We have been anticipating this day since she was born! Does anyone have any preparation tips? She'll bring her crate with her, and a bed. We have toys for her, a leash, a collar, food and drink bowls. We'll soon be getting a supply of training pads and puppy food (but I think her breeder mommy might be giving us some food to start with). Anything I haven't thought of?

| Congratulations! How exciting and you will have her for Thansgiving One thing I recommend is a harness vs. a collar. I started with a collar/leash but their little necks are so small I switched to a harness. I'm sure others will give you more information... Can't wait to see pictures!

| such great tips! thanks for the tips, i do agree about the harness. we found one at walmart that we liked a lot, it is a "step in" design that seems like it will be easy to put onto her. and shampoo and a comb, definitely!

| Congratulations1 Isn't the wait the hardest?! hmm what else might you need????......how about some warm clothing, as winter is soon approaching us, ughh, lol! And do you have a vet picked out? ummm a little soft bed to call her own place? I def agree with the harness. There are some really cute nice ones here that YT'ers make. With velcro and snap openings. They are really gentle on there little bodies and sooo cute |

| by "all shots" do you mean the full gamut, all 4 rounds? or are 2 rounds good enough?? she'll have at least one set when we get her, maybe two.

| I'm the one with the puppy who has Parvo. He's at the vets right now and it's all I can think about. He's 11 weeks and had his first two sets of shots. I hadn't taken him anywhere except the vets and my yard, yet he still got infected. Not sure what I could of done differently. Congrats on your new baby! |

YT 2000 Club Member | Congratulations!! Your baby is a doll! Waiting is soooo hard! I have 7 more weeks till my baby boy Jeter comes home. Do you have the grooming supplies bought? The clippers for the mails? How about a good puppy care/training book? One thing to remember when you bring your little one home and to the vet's, do not let your puppy walk around on the floor in the vet office!! You do not know what the other animals are in their for, so just keep the puppy on your lap or better yet bring the puppy in it's crate. My vet already informed us that this is the best way until he has gotten all boosters!
