| Where can I find toys NOT from China?? Where can I find toys that are not from China? I went to Petsmart this morning looking for some toys but everything said 'made in China' on the tag...some said they were distributed from places in the U.S. but the toy was still made in China. Does anyone know of a toy line made in the U.S. or at least another safe country? |

| Yes, I believe there was a thread on here not too long ago saying that West Paw Design (probably www.westpawdesign.com) makes some of theirs in the US. They gave a list (posted in a thread here somewhere) of the toys that are not made in the US and all the rest are. I also found a squeaky ball at Petsmart that is made in the US. It is made by Toy Shoppe though and some of their other stuff is made in China.

| Good for you for avoiding "Made In China" items! I normally wouldn't have thought of this, but I think I'm going to do the same thing when I get my first Yorkie in December! Hope you find the toys you are looking for! Good luck |

| You too dani23d. I don't think you can be too careful with their toys...after all...they are our 'kids' and I take their safety pretty seriously! You're going to enjoy your first Yorkie...I remember my first Yorkie and the feeling that comes along with it...you'll never get over it. |

| I sell the Busy Buddy and Squeeze Meeze and Loopies line, which are made in China but have all been tested and are safe. TreatStiks are made here, as are rubber Kongs and Planet Dog rubber toys. I'm constantly searching for toys made here! More will become available eventually.

| West Paw designs, all of theres are made in the US. Old Navy has some not made in china, you just have to look at the tag. But remember theres always going to be parts that are made in China and imported over here. |

| from a previous thread I posted on 2 different threads back in Sept or so about China made products Here's one of the threads http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=93411&page=2 And this is part of what I posted there on some research I did" I just googled US made dog toys and found this site: http://www.dogtoys.com/madeinusa.html those kong toys that I've never bought are on there. Also Nylabone, and Jolly Pet. Be careful, those it looks like only toys on that exact page are US made not all the toys on their site. Also, found these 2 sites with only US made toys: http://www.westpawdesign.com/ - cute, cute stuff http://www.pet-toyz.com/ Here's another one with balls, etc.: http://www.doggiezbest.com/Planet_Dog_s/44.htm And a ball to hide treats in: http://www.busydogball.com/ Here's a cute site too (looks like everything is made local: http://www.schnoodleware.com/ This one has organic toys, looks like some of them benefit an Indian reservation: http://www.pristineplanet.com/natura...10413_a_0.html Also: look at this great forum I found: http://www.nomoremadeinchina.com/ AND here' s another good site: http://www.howtobuyamerican.com/ this one list all kinds of American toy companies for skinkids Sure there is more out there! At least I hope........
