| Chip just did that! I couldn't sleep so I was in the kitchen cleaning up and he just started barking, I am assuming it was because something was out side since was at the top of the stairs looking out the window. Then when I came down to the computer he starts barking again, and he got to the point of going up to his bed in the living room to I guess keep an eye on things.

| My labs used to do that when they were outside, After one of our labs passed away, (he was the alpha male) the other male we had would start running around like something was chasing him, he would bark and the hair would stand up, and my other lab would just be standing there looking at him like he lost his mind. So, I do believe that pets can feel things that we can't, and truly believe that when a pet passes they are always around.
