Don't worry - plenty of hugs. Judy gave you some great clinical information on why it's good for our boys. And we're all here for moral support!!

Thank You so much everyone. I just love it here. It is such a supportive place. I know it is the right thing to do. It's just something new.
God is good and I know he will be with my baby.
He has to be there between 7:30 and 8:30. They said I could pick him up probably after 3:00. I am going to go to church and work for the day. I have not been in much this week because I almost fell there Sunday and hurt my ankle. It is really sore. I fell there a few years ago and broke my knee cap. For some reason I can not keep my balance in that place.

My Golden retriever has to go to the vet at 1:00, she has hot spots we think and she has her leg chewed really bad. She was just on meds for a skin infection. I am sure when we take her, we can check on Winstin.
I know the vet is good because she saved our Black Labs life a couple months ago. We did not have her fixed and she got an infection. Needless to say she had to be fixed and it was costly. The Golden was going to be done tomorrow also. However, we cannot have her done because of the skin problem. She would be to itchy. She will be spayed later.

I'm sure your Winstin will be 100% A-OK! My first fur kid got neutered just a few short months ago..and I was a nervous wreck..but everything worked out great!
Please give Winstin lots of hugs and kisses from me and my fur baby Tobi!

I just dropped Winstin at the vet. It made me cry, isn't that silly? Anyway, they are calling when he is done. I can get him at three. I miss him already.

Not silly at all! I cried with both Laney and Slade.

Hopefully the hours will fly by and he'll be in your arms before you know it.

The worst is over, I believe. They called a bit ago and Winstin was in recovery. That was the best phone call I have gotten in a while. It's not long til I can go get him. I can hardly wait. Thanks for all the prayers!! I will update when he arrives at home!

I will pray for you and him. I remember how I was with Aubrey!! Everything will be fine, but im not going to tel you not to worry bc I know you will, and I know that I did!!

Be sure to get him something extra special!

I understand what you are going though.I delayed Peanuts surgery 2 times. And when I got my second dog Thumper I was OK. And Yes I cried when I dropped him off. Remember to ask for a e-collar incase he bites the stitches.Also if he needs a recheck after surgery that visit is free.Ask first before taking him in.
