| New puppy frenzy! I can't find my cord to my digital camera to post pics! Yesterday I brought home my perfect dream puppy... We planned to name her Matilda *which I LOVE* but it just doesn't suit her, which kinda makes me sad. Anyway, I think we are pretty settled on Pippa (the Pipsqueak). It's just HER name, if you know what I mean. She is a little bundle of spunk and energy, friendly, unafraid, sweet. Loved being bathed, ate her Royal Canin like a champ. 10 weeks old and a pound six ounces. I have her set up in a playpen with pee pads in a frame on one side and her bed and food, water on the other. She has consistently peed and pooped on the pad many times...nowhere else (yet) I am thrilled and we'll see how things continue. I love having this board as a resource...what did people do before the internet???

Congrats on your new baby!!! Can't wait to "meet" little Pippa!!! And ohhhhh I LOVE the name Matilda!!! I'm getting a new baby girl and while her name is already Gracie, and she is 5 months old.... My grand daughter's name is Grace (Gracie) so I don't think having a pup with the same name would be fitting.... The name Matilda is adorable.... may I steal it????

I just don't know if we should stick with Matilda and see if she kinda grows into it, or go with the name that suits her today...(Pippa). Oh, the utter agony of a name!!!

| Welcome to you and baby Pippa!! I just love her name. If, as you say, it suits her personality, I would stick with it. You will absolutely love it here on YT. I cannot believe how much I have learned from these amazing members since joining in Feb. Puhlease get that camera sorted out, 'cause we are addicted to baby pictures here and are constantly in need of a fix.... Welcome again! Lauren
