| The first time I seen this behavior is when I babysat a Maltese. Tucker would just stand over my feet. I thought it was a little weird. I think you might be right some kind of dominance thing

| Try rubbing their tummy with your foot. My Toby does it all the time -- he just wants his tummy rubbed. But it's fun to watch people who don't know cause he'll walk up and stand over their foot. They seem to think he's going to lift his leg. |
