| Paisley's getting spayed tomorrow : ( Hi everyone, Paisley's getting spayed tomorrow. I've been sitting here debating on putting this off for so long. When I had Pia spayed we almost lost her and because of that I'm now even more terrified for Paisley. To top it off she had bloodwork done a few days ago and something came back abnormal. The results were sky high that she's a bleeder (hemophilia). I'm sorry I'm not sure of all the correct terms that my vet used but she does believe the results are wrong. She said Paisley would be bleeding out from everywhere and she obviously isn't. Everything else came back fine but just hearing that made me even more nervous. My vet said once Pailsey is put under she's going to cut one of her toe nails too short to make it bleed on purpose just to double check what happens. Paisley will also be having some baby teeth pulled. I'm just so nervous about everything and I know many of you know where I'm coming from and I ask you to please keep Paisley in your prayers. Thanks everyone....

| Hi Dina, We are praying for you!!! I know how you feel..I was scared to death when Tumi got spayed. She was so little but she was back to herself that evening. I am getting Gracie spayed in about a week from now..I hope Paisley's surgery will go without a glitch and hope she'll be back to her cute little self in no time! |

| It sounds like your vet will do everything possible to ensure Paisley's safety. Prayer will definitely be going up for your little girl from Georgia. Hugs and kisses to Paisley

| Hi, she (my vet) had done the bloodwork just a few days ago. I had more than the usual things tested just to be extra safe and Paisley's bloodwork had to be sent out to a differen't lab. Everything came back ok except for this. I didn't think at that time to ask about re-testing her but believe me I have thought about it now and will be asking tomorrow when I take her in. I do however feel that maybe she doesn't want to take blood again since she just did a couple days ago. I could definately be wrong about this but I will be asking numerous questiosn tomorrow morning. My vet is very familar with Paisley and definately not the kind to just skip on something if she feels its needed. I just think she didn't want to put Paisley through that again when she could easily cut the toe nail and see what happens. Paisley threw quite the fit at the office when they took the blood the other day and I think my vet is trying to prevent this. However, I'm pretty sure if she felt the test needed done again, she would not hesitate. Either way I will be discussing this with her some more. Thank you so much for bringing this up and I do appreciate you running that by me because I might not have thought about it. Thank you again.

| I hope all goes well for Miss Paisley, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember how afraid I was when I had to take Isabella, I cried & kept calling the Vets office all day, they probably thought I was nuts but I didn't care what they thought. Wishing you the best!!!

| I will keep Paisley in my prayers and I hope that everything goes smoothly for her and she has a very speedy recovery. My Digger was dropped off this morning to be neutered and have his teeth done, so I understand your fear... |
