| Which car seat to buy? Help Please! Hi Everyone, Chloe is around 6 to 6.5 lbs and I am looking for a car seat for her. I bought a car seat from Petsmart, but she didn't like at all. It wasn't that comfortable anyway. So, I am looking to buy either http://homeandkennel.petedge.com/Con...CategoryId=402 I would like to get this one..but it says only for pet up to 4lbs?? Anyone has this one and your furbaby is around 6 to 6.5 lbs and you drive a car (not SUV or truck)? If so, how does your furbaby doing in it? I have a really small car!! or http://homeandkennel.petedge.com/Del...CategoryId=402 However, the second one has to be placed at the back seat and I am not sure how Chloe would react to that! She whined the whole time when we were driving!! She just wanted to sit on my laps! (I was not driving, my bf was) Please help me decide!! Thank you so much! |

| I have both the Snoozer console and the Snoozer My Buddy Lookout. Sissy started in the console seat and loves it there. She does not like being in the My Buddy in the backseat, but Angel doesn't mind as this is where she began. So, I think that if you are just starting out, the backseat version will most likely work for you. As for the console seat, I love having Sissy right next to me. I have also seen varying weights on different sites up to 6 lbs. Also, unless you ordering lots of stuff from PetEdge to offset the extremely high shipping they charge for either of these seats, check out some of the "Buy it Now" deals on Ebay that offer free shipping. Just do a search on Snoozer Car Seats and at the bottom of the page they will have several listings for Ebay stores at buy it now prices.

| For those who have the small car seat (the one they claimed only for up to 4 lbs) Do you have your furbaby who weigh more than 4 lbs in it (like 6 to 6.5 lbs)? |

| I got both and didn't like the console seat. 1. It's tough to strap onto the console. I never did figure out how to put it on correctly. 2. There is nothing on the back to protect your baby from falling over the back into the back seat area. Jen fell out of it. I had her strapped into the seat with her harness. She was dangling from the console but the short strap kept her from reaching the floor. I had to pull over on the highway to get her back up. Soon as I got home - out it came! The larger seat get them high enough to look out the window, is secured with the seatbelt in the car and is a breeze to set-up or take out. Plus I can get all 3 of my girls in one seat (I use a 3-way coupling leash on the safety strap). I have 2 of the larger seats. One for my car, one for hubby's car. I love it!

| I was lucky and was able to find a bucket type car seat ... now I wish I had gotten two, although both the girls fit in this one, I feel as if one is getting stomped on .. oh my babies each weigh less than 5 lbs ... each averages 4.5 lbs .....

| I bought an Outward Hound car seat for about the same price as the ones you show. I bought it in May, and it already has a big rip in it. It still works, but I am a bit upset that it only took a few months! I'm not sure I would be able to drive with Paddington on the console. He is so nosy and would probably be trying to get in my lap the whole time. I would get the second one. The backseat seems safer to me than the console anyway. -O

It is really a good car seat .... they can see out and they are safely leashed in ... and it is so easy to install and move around ... I am not crazy about the console seats .... and I would never leave them loose in the car ... Good Luck finding the right car seat!! And the babies were saying "YEAH!!! Park time!!! Does my hair look good???"
