| Sam & Loki have matching seats next to each other in the back. I want to get the My Buddy, but they do fine now so I don't need it. ANYWAY - Sam did whine at first. It took probably 4 or 5 trips until she stopped, and it helps if she's tired. She prefers a lap, but she tolerates her car seat and she does much better if Loki is also in the car. After a few minutes she just falls asleep. If she was in a console seat she would fight to get out of it to sit on my lap. She's better off in back where getting out of her seat just means she has to sit next to Loki. Loki got used to his seat when he was a puppy. A good blanket and a bully stick is all he needs. He prefers his seat to a lap. To him, a car ride is just a good excuse to take a nap.

The strap of the seat straps to the two front seats floor brackets. Make sure to make the straps tight or the seat will move to much to be safe. Hope this helps.

| I feel that I have the most awesome car seat ever I got it around the same time I got my pup. Super paranoid about god forbid an accident and my Sophie getting hurt. It is called Global Pet Stowaway 3-in-1 Car Seat. Its a bed,car seat, and suitcase storage. I would recommend to anyone. The best $70 I've ever spent for the peace of mind knowing my dog is safe. And Sophie loves it too. She can see out the window and just jumps in automatically. If you try and drive with her loose she freaks out and gets very nervous all she wants is her seat. Here is what it looks like http://www.thepamperedpetmart.com/Me...filiate=nextag |

| There is plenty of space for her to lay down if she wants. There's also a strap attached to the inside of the seat that you connect to the harness this way they can't go anywhere. I leave enough slack so she either sit or lay. As far as the whining it's just a matter of them getting used to it. Sophie was that way in the beginning she even used to get carsick. After I bought this product the car sickness went away and now she hates being driven in the car without it. (Used to drive about 20 miles with her in the car every day so it was really important to me to have a good car seat). Hope this helps. |
