| Where in CA are you? I have a great vet in So. Cal. I'm so sorry your baby passed away. It's awful that a routine vaccination took her life. My vet gives "Holistic" doses - Just enough to satisfiy the law. He is one of the few vets who believes pet are over vaccinated. PM me if you want more info.

| Hello, I would be very interested in your "holistic" vet. I looked online yesterday and the closest ones I found were in Hollywood, but I would be willing to drive, no problem. I am in the Cochella Valley, (Palm Springs Area). Thank you All Kim |

| Hello, The rabies shot is what we believed caused her death. Since she was so small I was kind of scared to get it in the first place, but the vet kept saying to get it, so I told him I would wait til she was a bit bigger to get it. (9 months). We got her the shot and I even waited at the vets office for a little just in case. The next morning I took her out as usually to play with before I went to work, then when I got back a few hours later she had passed away in her bed. I called the breeder and we talked about it, and she was a healthy, gorgeous little gal before the shot and even had a vet check and everything, then after the shot she was gone.Thats originally why I found YT Cause I wanted to see peoples opinions on the subject. I found a few studies that had to do with rabies, and I have foundthat quite a few people have opted not to give there little ones rabies shots. I have also found that there are some vets that will give shot according to the dogs size, and that is what I would love to find. I went on a site that had a list but the closest one is in Hollywood, and their last training date was like 99'. I am willing to travel for a good vet, and then have one in my area in case of emergencies. (I can't find a holistic vet in my area)

| I know mine is supposed to get her rabi shot in 2 weeks(she will be 15 weeks), I don't understand why they can't wait awhile longer with her, heck, she doesn't even go outside(she's pee pad trained)..I've just never heard of one dying from a rabi shot though.. |
