| Coughing? Hi! I just found this forum, and I am excited to have you "professionals" help me with a couple of questions. Sicily (who will be 1 year in December) does a strange little coughing type thing when she gets excited. It is almost like she is coughing up a hairball or something. Do other Yorkies do this, or is it something because she is smaller? (She's a few ounces under 4lbs.) Thanks! |

| I'm not real sure I'm new to the Yorkie breed as well. There are a lot of knowledgable and helpful people on here so, I'm sure you will get your answer. Welcome to YT! We would love to see pictures of your pup! |

| If she's making that noise while she's excited it's most likely collapsed trachea.
