| My lap is no longer mine. Even if Demi is sound asleep across the room, if I put my laptop, or book, or knitting on my lap, she wakes up, races over, and nudges the offending object until I move it. Then she marches onto my lap, sighs, and puts her head down, as if to say, "The things I have to do to enforce the rules around here...." |
