Paisley is around this age also so maybe its not her fault she's a little monster. :p |
Pixie Stix (or bully sticks) are a natural and safe chew that dogs LOVE! They are excellent for keeping the little monkeys occupied for long periods of time. You can Pixie Stix from YT member Kathryn at her web site beyondspoiled.com. I like to buy the bully sticks from her because they are free range (no pesticides or chemicals), they don't stink, and I like to support fellow YT members. Otherwise, you can buy them at PetSmart, Petco, online, etc. |
I have a 9month old yorkie and he use to be so sweet and cuddley and in just the last coulpe of weeks he is like a different dog. He would go to his bed every nite at 9:30 and now sometimes he is still wanting to play at 12:00. I hope too that he grows out of this stage soon. |
Oh wow, reading this thread is scaring me! Ha! I will be getting my pup in a few weeks and can't wait...but yikes on them going thru the "terrible twos"... Hi my fellow Texan Sat93us! :cf57: Your not far from me (beaumont)... |
Teddy is just about 5 months old and he has been psycho puppy for about 3 weeks now. Usually about 6pm he starts doing laps around the house, play biting and generally getting into trouble. I cant stay mad at him though because he knows what he's doing is wrong and as soon as I start to correct him he takes off doing laps again, its hilarious to watch! We do take him for walks (weather permitting) and it doesn't seem to do much good. He's quiet for a few minutes after we get home and then the race is on again. I'm hoping since he started his terrible twos early, maybe they will end early as well (hopefully neutering will calm him a little!) |
lol, these are great, molly goes wild for them... whats funny is that people dont know what they are.... dehydrated bull penis...... marketing is an amazing thing.... |
Gross !!!! |
OMG! I am so glad that I saw this thread! I am a new mommy and my BAD BOY just turned 6mo. The terrible twos has hit hard, he is a different dog. I too want my sweet baby back. I have to admit, some of things he has been doing lately are funny but his new one really is starting to wear thin: When I tell him no...HE BARKS AT ME AND WON'T STOP while running in circles around me. I love him death but this stage is exhausting |
Rockie is 5 months and still in going strong and very energetic:) When is quiet and not energetic I think something is wrong:rolleyes: He is a moving tornado:p |

coco was realy hyper like that when she was a pup and would drive me crazy but she just turned one and has changed alot i guess you can say she grew up:D |
I think you should enjoy this stage because you might miss it later. When Teddi turned 1 year old she all of a sudden decided she need to be mature because she was an adult or something. She doesn't really play with her toys anymore and she will sit in the middle of the room all tall like "look at me I'm so mature"....I kinda miss the crazy kid!!! |
And she used to cry/bark (she actually sounded like a bird) when I would leave the house and now nothing...no sounds anymore at all!! |
Well my Winston is now on 8 months and he's sweet as pie. He definitely grew out of it. It was a strange month or two there for a while !! he was just a TERROR!! but you gotta love the little buggers! :p |
